Every Newton build at MB Custom Golf is trimmed, tipped, and checked on Mitchell equipment for loft/lie, swing weight, and frequency — not just slapped into a head.
Newton’s Motion technology is designed to let the shaft load along a longer section of the profile instead of “kicking” hard at one point. That makes it easier for you to feel the head, square the face, and keep your tempo — especially if you don’t swing like you’re 25 anymore.
Their unique Dot System replaces confusing flex labels. Instead of guessing between “R/S/X”, you choose a Dot based on how far you actually carry the ball. We then use that Dot as the starting point and fine-tune length, tipping, and head combo in the studio.

We stock Newton Motion driver, fairway, and uncut options so we can build your shaft to the exact length, tipping, and feel you need. Uncut fairway shafts give us room to nail your 3/5/7 wood gapping instead of forcing you into stock lengths.
Every build is checked on Mitchell loft/lie machines, swing-weighted to your target feel, and verified for frequency. If you’re coming from an off-the-rack “upgraded shaft” that was never actually measured, the difference in consistency will be obvious.
